15 AI Tools to Use in Your Business

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen a headline along these lines, “10 Ways AI Will Change Your Life” or “AI: How it Will Replace You.”

The reality is, that the AI phenomenon is not going away anytime soon. As a business owner and tech whiz, I’ve been interested in the AI phenomenon for two reasons:

1. I want to know how it can help me.
2. I want to know how it can hurt me.

My conclusion? AI is a tool, meant to augment our lives and not meant to replace us (or our jobs) entirely. I’m all in for things that help me save time, money, and frustration, but not at the expense of something else I value (insert your variable here). For example, I’m all for using AI to create a project outline to save time and get things moving, but I’m not going to trust it to fully capture my client’s needs to the degree I would.

So, if you’re looking to improve your business using AI, I’ve got you covered. Here is a list of some of my favorite AI products and tools that have helped me (and my clients) do exactly that!

Before we start, please remember that AI tools are meant to assist and be left entirely alone (especially for content). Contrary to popular belief, there are laws around the use of AI, so be sure to keep that in mind when using it. Writing

1. Surfer – A writing tool that helps you create SEO-ranking articles.
2. ChatGPT – Open AI chat tool that can help with ideas, outlines, content, etc.
3. Jasper – AI writing tool that helps create content specifically for marketing.
4. Grammarly – AI writing tool that helps create content (specifically in your writing style/voice).
5. Lavender.ai – AI writing tool that specifically helps in creating marketing emails.

Admin

1. Fireflies – A meeting recorder that provides transcripts, summaries, and to-do lists (one of my favorite tools!)
2. Zoom AI Companion – I specifically love it for summarizing my Zoom meetings (and sending it to participants!) and it’s already included in the Zoom plan I pay for.
3. Copilot AI – A LinkedIn lead generator. Think automated searching and messages, but better.
4. ClickUp AI – An all-in-one AI tool. It creates content, summaries, and most importantly, it creates an outline and subsequent tasks.
5. ChatGPT Kayak Plugin – Meet your new AI travel planner – this will cut your travel research time in half.
6. AI by Zapier – This allows you to tell Zapier what you need and its AI tool will create the zap for you. All you need to do is connect your accounts!
7. Whimsical – This app creates mindmaps, diagrams, and charts with the information you give it!

Finance

1. Copilot.Money – The best budgeting app. It learns your habits, projects your spending habits, and adjusts your budget accordingly.
2. Finmark from BILL – A data collecting and analyzing program for businesses to model their finances and make better decisions.

Social Media

1. Contentfries.com – Takes videos you’ve created and chunks them into short-form videos for social media.
2. Veed.io – Moves your eyes from a teleprompter to looking straight ahead, allowing you to read content without looking like it.
3. LifeBrand – Reviews any social media platforms and flags any inappropriate or potentially brand-damaging content.
4. ManyChat – Instead of posting “link in bio” you can have your audience comment a specific word, and ManyChat will send them the link.

There are thousands of ways you can use AI in your business. Hopefully, this list gave you a good starting place. And remember, while the AI landscape (like many things) is changing daily, hopefully, you’re able to find some useful tools in the midst of it!
